a little late in the season 1

but I thought I would show the 123 ( or as it is right now a 103 ) pushing some snow

http://youtu.be/CEcrrxguJsM

hydros are nice to use to push snow

Cool video. Loving the tri ribs. I really want to find a blade. Looks fun with a hydro, especially the first one, nice job

cjrolke 02-16-2014 05:58 PM

I have tri ribs on almost all of my tractors

the steering is awesome with tri ribs and a re greased and cleaned up steering column makes steering so much easier

they slide a little in the snow but its all good

Nice vid, it looks like your 123 has more "patina" on the hood than my 125 ( with qa42 )

Good to hear you saved a parts machine. These cubs are sturdy beasts :beer2:

darkminion_17 02-16-2014 07:53 PM

I have seen worse patina than that.
Nice video Chris

Just the top of the hood has the extra patina. Really doesn't look too bad.

I have learned a lot about hydros with this tractor

#1 new fluid and filter does wonders for getting it to move
#2 release valves need to be soaked in fluid to get them to work better (especially when they were stuck )
#3 JB Weld works great to seal a suction line that has a rub hole in it from the linkage hitting it
#4 Hydros are awesome for plowing
#5 PB Blaster is a wonderful thing to get rust parts to move.

If you think PB Blaster works good, try some KROIL. It's like magic

You forgot #6 Riding a cub in the snow beats pushing a deere!:biggrin2:

Great video and glad to hear that your 123 is giving you some really nice service. Now just think what you could do with a 12hp under the hood.

Cub Cadet 123

I will get the 12 back in it

there was a bolt broke off in the block

the 10 was just sitting so that was easier
