Couple pics from todays storm **image warning**

These were taken just south of Rock Falls Illinois on an overpass over Interstate 88 facing east as the storm passed over. These were taken at roughly 4:55. Hope y'all enjoy, and be safe out there! :beerchug:

That storm is bearing down in us now, I heard possible 70-80mph winds. Watching weather channel that front goes as far north as Madison, WI. It just got really dark here.

Hope the weather didn't get too rough, Ryan.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, and we hope you guys in effected areas got off easy! We got off a lot better than predictions predicted. They were calling for hail and 60+mph winds but I don't think we got that, at least not in my neck of the woods. First storm was more rain than anything, but when the second storm hit, our power flashed and it was quite a lighting show. All came out fine, though. :beerchug:

Thought you guys might enjoy this pic, too. I really enjoy being out in severe weather, and snapping what pics I can. This is from a real barn burner of a storm almost exactly 1 year ago. I was on the way back to work from the store and saw this coming in. I pulled over and snapped a pic just in time to beat the downpour of rain. As I drove along, less than a minute later, through the blinding rain and winds, a tree got knocked down across the road just in front of me. If I hadn't stopped for that pic, I may have been under it.

That's something else, Ryan. Taking that pic may have saved your life.

I agree with Allen.

image warning?

Give me a break! If there is any moron of degenerate viewer that takes offense to this warning as real, they could go pick their nose & brains for boogers. . :biggrin2:

I see NO GORE, GUTS, BLOOD, GRAY MATTER, laying on the sidewalk, street, field. Nothing but some cool clouds. Mother natures work at best.

Am I missing something?

Or is this a pre-warning of trying to be OVERLY sensitive?

Nik,

Nik,

I've learned that when there's large images in the first post of a thread, to post an "image warning" for those out there unlucky enough to still have dial-up. If there was going to be gore, guts, nudity, gray matter, etc, then I would have put a "NSFW" (not safe for work) tag in the title. I've been around a few forums, I know what I'm doing :biggrin2: :beerchug:

Or to cheap?

Didn't realize that there are still people out there in the dial up mode. :biggrin2:

Hey I know someone who doesn't have a puter nor a cell phone & don't want one.

Nik
