I.d.?

I have a hydro rear end assembly, which has the chassis i.d. tag. For the life of me, I can't decifer it. Compared to my 127, it's a very short number.
Here's the number
208074

Its from a 123 or 125 which didn't have a model code in the serial.

red56turbo 08-16-2014 11:18 AM

Could be from a 105 as well. :bigthink:

olds45512 08-16-2014 11:18 AM

Look like July of 67 so it should he from a 125.

HoundDog 08-16-2014 11:19 AM

Thank you. That explains why I couldn't find anything.

Either way its the same rear end with no way to tell them apart since there's no kind code.

I'm still learning, so forgive my ignorance. Did some hydros have an internal brake? This rear end doesn't have discs like my 127 does.

Just answering the OP's question about what it could have been. From the serial number either a 105 or 125. I know its the same rearend.........:HeadScratch:

Thanks for the responses. I thought my hydraulic pump went out on my 127 when the last time I mowed. It suddenly stopped moving. I started tearing it down to remove the pump, and when it got to the point to remove the cover at the engine, I saw that the roll pin had fallen out while I was mowing. $.50 cents later and I was back in business!
My cousin gave me a complete hydro rear end after I told him my pump went out. So, I have an extra rear end. Figured, since the tag was still there, I'd see what it came from.

From that serial number, it comes from the 1x2/3 Series of tractors.

I agree with Roland,

My bad, I misread the serial number when I looked it up. Yes that serial is from a 123.
