New guy from Canada eh
 

Hey there, New to Cubs and computers, sort of. I Purchased a 109 hydro in the fall and spent a bit of time making it work for me over the winter.
It is now technicaly sound, but not so nice to look at. I have paint and decals to apply once I have finished using it to draw wood out of the frozen swamp. I would really like to see some photos of a 109 looking like it should.

Hey man welcome to the forum!!:beerchug: Ontario is an awesome place. Been to North Bay, Sudbury, Perry Sound(Bobby Orr), Stratford, Sarnia, Fort Erie, of course Toronto and Hamilton. I love Canada except for Crosby's goal!!!:beerchug:

Get over it papa, you guy's invented the Cub, we invented Crosby, and Gretsky. In all fairness you should be very proud of the young men and women that represent your country. As I am new to this site I have sort of been sitting in the bushes, and, I have come to appreciate the frendly and informative group of guys here :CanadianFlag: :American Flag 1: I wish someone would call my wife and let her know that I am not the only guy with too much spare time on my hands

G'day I have lived in Tweed, just north of Belleville Ontario for the last 26 years.where are you? my cub looks pretty much like it did when I brought it home. It now starts and stops and steers. My neighbour calls it a donkey, in a nice way. It will pull what ever I hook onto it. It is to bad we are not building great products like this anymore. Thanks...Craig

I'm just outside South Mountain, its about 2-1/2 hrs East of you...East of Brockville in the middle of corn fields. Mine too looks the same as when I bought it last fall. I have to do some tweeking to it to get it running in top shape for spring. I am VERY happy with the condition its in for the age of it - I certainly got a deal on this tractor when I bought it. I do not regret sinking the money into it. Yes, it is very unfortunate that products are not made with the same quality anymore. Heck, even if we could get stuff half the quality and made in Canada or USA would be a huge step in the right direction! I darn near fell over the other day when I seen something with Made in Canada on the tag! Sad really.
So where is the closet Cub dealer for you.....Belleville or Peterborough? The closest one I can go to that has knowledgable people at is Brockville. Wish they still had their bone yard there too, but supposedly they cleaned it up a few years ago?

Yes, I'd have to agree with you! Nice to see more people on here from Ontario. Thought maybe Cubs weren't too popular in Ontario....now I am being proven wrong.

Hey Guys - another guy from Ontario. I live close to the Carleton Place area.

I picked a 109 a few years ago and that started the obsession. Now I have 2 Originals (being restored), 104 fully restored, 149 which is an everyday work tractor, and a number of parts tractors.
I didn't know there was so many Cub owners in the area. Good to know.

Hi there, I deal with a dealer just north of Trenton, Ont. called John's Equipment.
They are in Frankford, realy good guy's to deal with and seem to have a good inventory.

Hey there, everyone on this great forum will hate me, but 15 years ago when I was young and foolish, as opposed to being old and foolish, I helped a neighbor load 2 cubs on my trailer for the scrapyard. For no other reason than I hate to see good stuff recycled.
I felt uncomfortable, but I have great neighbours, and do whatever I can to help. To soon old, too late smart...Craig
