Got home with the cub.:beerchug:
Good trip, great PO and wife.
Nancy had to take it for a smoke test, I think she enjoyed it:biggrin2:
It's a real peach. Must have been a lot of rust on the tins at one time, because there is a bunch of craters.
The last tag is what's on the mower mount.???

That's a nice tractor you got there your gonna have fun with that

Billy-O 10-25-2014 10:17 PM

Gotta love the cratered patina red and the pearly whites showing ear to ear. The Cub is one sweet lookin' tractor.

Oak 10-25-2014 10:23 PM

Congrats Todd or should I say Nancy. I miss my 49 Cub. They are cool little tractors.

ACecil 10-25-2014 11:17 PM

Nice Farmall Cub, Todd.

And when Nancy's happy, Todd's happy, happy, happy.
I'm glad a "new" tractor makes the wife happy, beats having to go to a mall or store and shop for girly stuff.:bigthink:

Thanks guys:beerchug:

I've been busy the last few days Todd, I missed this post! Glad you got it home, and Nancy and Santa both look pretty happy!! I guess it's Santa... :bigthink: The guy in the last pic with the white beard.... Santa bought her a new toy? That's what it looks like to me :biggrin2::biggrin2:

cubcadet 10-27-2014 06:10 AM

SGragg 10-27-2014 12:15 PM

Congrats on the FULL SIZE Cub! Nice!!

DoubleO7 10-27-2014 03:13 PM

Is that the factory experimental "hammertone" finish?

Congrats!

I would take a Lo-Boy version if'in I came upon one at a decent price.

Sure grip finish, crawl anywhere and not worry about sliding off:beerchug:

Todd,
Thanks for sharing the pictures of Nancy's new toy.
Looks real good. Heck I get that type of finish on parts without hardly trying.
Another big tractor on the place is going to be nice working your food plots.

Went archery hunting Monday morning, had a doe come in withing 25 yards and she stopped and looked behind several time. I was waiting for the big one. When a little four point showed up she was gone. Saw a couple small gray squirrels, and the insides of my eyelids.

Grandson Nic got a nice buck several weeks ago. Nic and Brandi stopped to pick up the frozen burger yesterday. Great to see them harvesting and processing their venison. Hoping our first great grandchild is going to be a hunter too. Expected arrival next April!

Hey I think I just hi-jacked your thread, sorry.

Regards,
Chris

Heck, even the dogs seem happy and took a photo op!! Glad you got a new "snow mover" and from what I heard, we are going to need it this year (at least in my area). The cub is nice, but the time spent together and the story is worth a whole lot more!! Nice score Todd.

Thanks, no "snow mover", just a mower.
