2015 Red Power Round Up - June 10-13, 2015

Who's planning to come to the 2015 RPRU in Sedalia, MO, June 10-13?

Are you planning to bring a tractor to show, or just attend?

Merk 01-29-2015 07:00 PM

I'm taking my camper and no tractors.
I will be spending time at the Chapter 6 table.
Stop by and introduce yours self.

bocephus1991 01-29-2015 11:54 PM

I'm going , don't know what day maybe thurs or friday. I live about 40 miles from sedalia. I won't be taking any tractors a friend of mine may take his 806d with a turbo on it or his restored open station 1466.

Always thought it would be something of a conversation piece to show up with a vintage Bambi Airstream pulled by my JD 730 or my IH 806 depending on the event theme.
Sure would get to enjoy the ride @ 10 mph rather than 70+ on the interstate.
But with my luck, it would rain every day going & returning. :Cry1:
Too bad today, we are all in a hurry to get somewhere and miss the "trip"
:bigthink:

I will be there with one of my OCC's and maybe something else. Hope to camp out of my enclosed trailer.

If you're serious, let me know in the spring. Is that an enclosed trailer or do I need to bring a tent? :biggrin2:

Sedalia is almost in my back yard, so I don't really have an excuse not to. lol
Dont know if I have any tractors worth showing but my son would really like to show his 782. Being workers it is really hard to want to brag about scratches, dings, wear and some rust... Do have one M in pretty good shape that I sould consider. hmmm

rocker582special 04-29-2015 01:11 PM

To far of a haul for me. I should have gone last year. It was literally in my back yard. I'm ready for Portland Indiana tho.

Looking good. Work is in the way so I will no be able to attend. Really sucks.

bocephus1991 06-10-2015 05:39 PM

I will be up there Friday. Not taking anything. A buddy of mine has his open station 1466 there. Cub cadet and tractor parade 2pm.

SGragg 06-11-2015 08:38 PM

Have enjoyed seeing all the Cub Cadets, especially the 82 series red ones. Quite a few, but since this is only my second RPRU, don't have a good gauge whether there's more or less than years past.

I've written several of your names down that said you'll be attending, and I'll try to look you up Friday.

Will be posting some pics soon.

Stanton I'll have a black IH hat on from farmall land in Iowa. And a chain drive billfold.

I was in Sedalia Wednesday and Thursday. There were more 82 series Cubs there than I have ever seen in one place!
I took lots of pictures of a lot of stuff!

bocephus1991 06-12-2015 11:21 PM

There was a lot of neat stuff there! Your right, I've never seen so many red Cubs in one place before!

782CC 06-13-2015 12:51 AM

Taking my son there in the morning. Hoping not too many machines have hauled out. Also with any luck I will catch some fellow cubbers.

Randy Littrell 06-13-2015 08:01 AM

Getting ready to head to Sedalia this morning with my son. Looks like rain wont be a problem today.

The pictures of the little tractors don't do them justice. The quality of the builds are amazing! Very heavily built.

Well, 2015 RPRU is complete. Was a good show. Hope all who attended enjoyed it.

Saturday, I was a little disappointed in how early some exhibitors pulled out (some the previous evening). But I know that many had a couple days traveling ahead of them. In retrospect, Thursday and Friday were the real show days; more there during those two days.

Was glad to see the response to the red '82 series Cub Cadets, since they were one of the featured tractors this year.

I was able to pick up a 44C deck with tight, smooth quiet spindles. So, should be able to make a good deck out of the four I have. :)

782CC 06-15-2015 10:14 AM

My son and I really enjoyed it. Shame so many CCs had already pulled out by Saturday morning. But still did get to see some real beauties. Including many from the pics in this thread. Sam was not happy as he told me we should have had a couple machines in the lineup. I missed the front mounted rotary mower. Would have really like to have seen it. Thanks to those of you who did show machines. It is a lot of work and we all appreciate getting a chance to see your prize possessions.
