Gonna do some plowing today!! NOT Snow!
The 782 and 102 are gonna have there hands full today!:biggrin2: May let the Deere help a little bit.:bigthink: The driver said that is 12 yards, paid for 10. :beer2:
What do you guys pay per yard for gravel? https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-L...210_075242.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-M...210_080740.jpg |
Most places sell it by the ton. So you should have about 18-20 tons sitting in that pile. It's about $9.00 a ton here at the quarry then you add the trucking cost. My guess is you paid about $250.00 for that load but I don't know how far they had to haul it. Now you need a loader. :biggrin2:

Thanks Sam! I should have mentioned that its 21A crusher run. Just called the local plant and they said $20/ton. So the people my dad contracted treated us pretty good. I told you Sunday, everything in Nova is more expensive!:bash2:

The pile is getting smaller. :biggrin2: Cub pics coming later.

Lew, if I was doing it by hand, that pile would pretty much look the same right now and I would be dead! :biggrin2: |

The JD loader has been a life-saver many times. It replaced an IH 354 that the oil pan drain plug fell out of. :beer2: was the reason my dad told me recently. Would probably still have it if that hadn't happened. The only reason the replacement was green is the red dealer closed up.:bash2: |
