My new 982
 

well I've been slacking on the posts lately so i figured id update you all with my newest purchase. I got an ih built 982 with dual hydro ports and turning brakes. I got it from a guy who got it from the original owner and he said it ran when parked.

Here is build dates and ser#s. Look in the ser # urs looks like 685176, but it's hard to make out. If that's the case urs is Dec 1980.

Looks like 553 hours if it hasn't rolled over.

IH_147 that thing is sweet. Been hunting one of those for a while, passed on a lot of other things as shop space is a premium right now but I'd be willing to put something outside for a bad boy like that 982. Is it the original motor?

hi yall thanks for the kind words i got it last week and have been working on it since in between the cold weather and snow because the garage is full of mustangs in it:beatdeadhorse: Yea it has the original onan in it. I plan to make a snow plow for it and make it hydro angle, and the original owner got it with a snow blower but he threw it in a dumpster:bash2:
