Hi everyone. I wanted to apologize for my behavior. I honestly just looked like to me that a few people were calling me stupid and not able to do stuff ect.
But, I'm not going to get into that. I know somewhere someone said that I am confident in what I say and that I think I know everything and stuff like that. Truth is, I'm probably the least confident person on this world. I don't talk a lot to other kids at my school and rarely talk to my teachers. Because I know I will screw up and do something stupid. Well said. We protect our own members and we are all on here to look after each other. You might say that beyond the yellow and white or some of us like the reds, we share a greater bond, the bond of friendship. You are among our ranks now and soon will find a lot of great fellas here from around the world. Sure, we have differing ideas and if you look carefully, sometimes you will find this reflected in our post to a simple question.....like, What's the best cub to have? (Everyone here knows it is the cub cadet 123 :biggrin2:, but they will say it is some other model just to keep the conversation lively). Just keep in mind that it is never a question of who is right, but what is right.

We look forward to having you share advice to other members and offering suggestions on how to solve a problem. Your confidence will come with time and experience. Each of us has different backgrounds and different experiences that blend together to help us offer some of the best advice that we can to other members and especially some of our newest members. So, it is not a question of how smart are you, but how are you smart? I'm looking forward to reading the answer to that in your future threads/posts on this forum. I enjoyed talking to you today. Trust me no one here on OCC thinks you are stupid, your one Hell of a lot smarter than most of the kids your age today. I'm sure most of the members welcome guys your age that want to be involved in this hobby. Take the time to learn from the older guys and it will serve you well in life. We may not have all the answers but we "Know where to find the answer", that was something that was told to me by a tech tuning a Cummins engine for one of my Dad's concrete trucks when I was about your age that I never forgot. Anytime you want to talk you know how to contact me. Oh yeah and J-Mech is also a good guy, he's just trying to do 48 hours worth of things in 24 Hours so he tends to be a bit short with his answers, don't take it the wrong way.

Remember, age does not define maturity. It's takes a big man to say I'm sorry. Thanks Justin.

I don't know Jmech personally but I'm fairly positive he's a mechanic and right now it's his crazy busy season. Good thing about short answers, they are usually direct, to the point, and don't waste time.

Justin,we are glad you are here.I think it is really great that some young folks are interested in the old garden tractors. I am an older dude (54) and 3 years ago I knew absolutely nothing about Cub Cadets. I had bought one to mow with and like the other guys,I fell in love with them. I earned a lot by asking questions and many hours of just reading this and other forums,and just diving into things and learning as I went. The guys on this site are amazing an sooo knowledgeable. So,now three year later, I can actually ANSWER a question once in a while.

Glad to have you Justin. I just looked at your YouTube vids. My neighbor has a hit and miss he put in a JD212 tractor. Gets it out for our little town parade once a year. I'll see if I can get a pic of it

This is a good start Justin106, a good start both to your introduction here as well as your journey to become a good man. I commend you for taking the difficult path of publicly asking for forgiveness. Everyone deserves another chance, you deserve it more than most.

Glad to see you cooled your jets. It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, what matters is how many times you get back up.
At your age, and with today's technology the interweb and sites like OCC can be very beneficial to a young man such as you who wants to learn small engines. Some of us older folks had to learn hands on eye to eye. But we also learned to keep our ears and eyes opened and at times our mouths shut or the lesson was going to be short:bigthink:
You've got a lot of fire, and I admire that in a young man such as yourself, but put it to good use, if someone with the experience is going to take the time to teach, take the time to listen..... it'll get you much further.
And I must say, it probably took a lot to admit wrong and apologize, but to me that's what makes a good man. Enough of the sappy stuff, hope you're back with your ears and eyes open.:beerchug:

Justin, your a good kid. You have to be to come out and publicly apologize.

Don't worry, you didn't rattle me. I've trained a lot of techs, (mechanics) the easiest ones to train are the ones who want to learn and try hard. When I hire a mechanic, I always tell them I expect them to make mistakes. That's how you learn. It would hurt your head (and wallet) to see some of the stuff I broke in my early days when I was learning. I had some guys who taught me, they were and are still the best of the best. When they talked, I listened. That's all we (I) want you to do. Not saying that we don't want you giving advice or posting, but it was said somewhere in all this that we at OCC kind of pride ourselves on being the best Cub Cadet site there is and that is because we give accurate information. If you aren't sure, just say so. If you disagree with something (especially if it's with me :biggrin2:) you'd better be able to back up your thoughts with a book/manual/or some real experience and not a "well someone told me". Welcome back. Look forward to your time on OCC. :beerchug:
