Frame question

I was wondering, are the frames the same on a 1200 and a 1211?

1200 is a quietline wideframe. 1211 is a spread frame....you will need a frame from a 800 1000 1200 1250 1450 or 1650 to match up anything with the 1200

Thanks guys! I was curious.Never have looked real close at them. My 1200 shakes like crazy and everything is tight. The 1211 is just as smooth as you could ever ask for.

Replace your is mounts. Common problem on the quietlines...

Motor mounting system on the 1211 is a lot different from the QL tractors. 100X better as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed- here are what the mounts looked like on a 1650 I just brought home.
2 of the bottom snubs were completely disintegrated.

Solid mounts ready to go in from Jeff in PA.

I put new mounts on it 3 years ago. Wish I could mount the engine like it is on the 1211.

Yeah I don't think those mounts in the pic have been touched for along time if ever.

Did you do the cradle mod?

bocephus1991 07-11-2015 08:40 PM

Yeah those mounts in the picture look 10x worse than mine I changed!

Maybe they loosened up and need tightened back down
