Most of you know me as Nick aka cubcadet, I wanted to publicly apologize to everyone here on OCC that was offended by some of my actions and some of the things I said, some of the members are Roland, Lew, and Jonathan, and especially Sam, I don't know why I did or said the things that I did but I am very sorry about it and it was bothering me so I only made this account to publicly apologize. Sam, if your reading this, I want to specifically apologize to you for what I did, and I want to thank you for what you did, you put me in my place, I know it hasn't even been a month, but you have taught me a valuable lesson, I should have just shut up and listened and learned, thank you Sam.I hope I can be accepted again, I had a lot of friends here that I miss talking to, i also miss posting pics of my collection, I realize you don't know what you have until it's gone, and that's what happened, I hope everyone is doing well, again, I'm very sorry for all of this, i guess I'm just asking for a second chance to prove all this wrong like the way it used to be, I really just want to make things right again and end this issue and move on.

TomK123 is an alas for Cubcadet AKA Nick who is currently banned. He started a new account as TomK123 in order to get around the ban. Question is should we allow Nick back on the forum.

I agree Nick should be given another chance. I feel he's learned from his mistakes and wants a fresh start.

I think everyone deserves a second chance. As long as he understands how to conduct himself. Lest we forget we were all 15 at one time and thought we had it all figured out.

I believe however there should be some clear rules and guidelines laid out for him by some of the moderators that he has to follow so the bomb doesn't get dropped again Sam style.

I don't feel I have been a member here long enough to pass judgement on Nick.
He was here long before I was.
I will let the long time members make the decision.

I have no issue with allowing Nick back in the group.

First thing, I don't think breaking the rules a second time by circumventing the ban is OK. If someone breaks out of jail to go apologize to their victim, they get some more time for breaking out.

Second, I don't think that being sorry for your action should preclude you from suffering the consequences of your actions. I think the question shouldn't be whether he be allowed back, but what term should he serve? 3 months? 6 months? 1 year? 5 years? Life? Let the mods be the judge of that.

I personally have no problem with Nick being reinstated to OCC. I think Nick was always a good young man. He lost control when he started sticking up for that a$$bag Justin Witt. I tried to tell him in a PM to avoid that kid like the plague because he was on a one way ticket out of here and nothing but trouble. Just my pennies worth.

let him back. he actually owns cub cadets, and makes posts related to them. just the long long long chit chat threads of nothing more than a few word posts got annoying and should be stopped if reinstated.

if he is allowed back in,where does the line get drawn???? should justin the hacker be allowed back in again then??? i know he has used several new names to get back in here,and might be here now. i dont care who you are or how old you are,treat people the way you want to be treated. i say NO

I'm 15 as well, in my point of view, there should be a set ban time so it's not a new situation and negotiation every time this happens. I'd say let him back, but I agree with j4c11, new accounts to apologize are also the wrong thing to do

Not everyone's past has been forgotten.

I guess I missed the event(s) to which Nick's (cubcadet) actions here on this forum caused him to be banned........ along together with another member who was rightfully banned that same day.

But I do know that Nick had contributed well to this forum in the sense that he shared a lot of information related to Cub Cadets. I will also tell you that Nick had, in the past, asked me (via private messages) to contribute more information and my experiences about Cub Cadets to this very OCC forum.

So..... like I said, I have no idea what happened a few weeks ago at the time Nick was banned! But beyond that time, I've always thought Nick was a pretty good Cub Cadet guy in the past and he proved me that he cared about Cub Cadet and this forum. I say he gets another chance !

This issue is about "Nick" and not about other side issues. Stay on track.

Guys, I'll close this thread tomorrow afternoon and then we will see how it plays out. As Roland said let's keep it on topic Nick gets back in yes or no. If you want to keep your reply private just shoot me a PM. I'll keep you out of it.

I don't mind if he is allowed back...Sept 1st. I think he can hold it together, if not, his next ban should be his last.

I kind of wonder why this isn't a poll for people to vote Yes or No. I think Alvy, GTKid, and one other member brought up some good points about a ban. This might be a good time to establish a duration for a ban, so that each time this arises it will not be left to interpretation, just enforcement. Guess I am a black & white type of guy.

Personally, I think Nick has been a good member and contributed positively to the forum in the past.....Agreed, he should not have circumvented the ban, so for that I think TomK123 should be banned, but Nick should be given another chance. However, I was not the one that Nick offended. I say, let the person(s) he (I think that was Sam Mac) offended make this decision.

There is no interpretation to a ban. The moderator who utilizes it sets the time. In the past, this type of discussion wasn't left up to the members, it was decided among the mods. Ultimately, the admin team sets and enforces it. I personally don't think this was a topic that should have been openly discussed.

I don't know what all happened, must have missed it. I would give someone a second chance. But it is a moderators decision.

All of you have made valid points. 16 of you said to let Nick come back, 6 said no and 3 offered no opinion. Some of you will be happy with my discussion and some of you will not. I hope this doesn’t come back to bite me in the butt, I’m already taking some heat because of this. I’m going to let Nick come back Sept 1st. These seem to be the issues that Nick needs to address in order to be a member in good standing. So here are the rules.

Nick
1: You get one last shot, if you screw up, don’t ask for another chance.

2: You were on a 6 month ban; I’ll reduce the ban to Sept 1st.

3: I had many comments from members about you monopolizing there time. This has to stop. Most members have jobs and can’t spend every waking moment dealing with endless PM’s, e-mails or phone calls just to chit chat with you.

4: The fact that you circumvented the system by creating a new profile PO’d a lot of people.

5: You don’t need to monopolize every thread on the forum.

6: If you feel the need to go into an endless chit chat or rant do it on Face Book. (I don't do face Book so I don't care)

7: If you feel that someone is not paying attention to you or is ignoring you, deal with it that’s life not everyone will love you or want to be your best friend. Some members mentioned that they felt that you were stalking them. And no it wasn’t Lew that made that comment.

8: You don’t need to get the last word.

Someone remind me Sept1st. to lift the ban.
