Pay it forward 682 parts.

I had bought a 682 with a broken motor for the 3 point lift. I'm keeping the pto, starter and carb. A few other things are already gone. If you need something for free yes free. Let me know I'd like this out of my garage. I didn't put this in the for sale section because its not for sale, just passing things on so others my live.

I don't need any 682 parts but a thank you for paying it forward :beerchug:

Shrewcub 10-07-2015 08:45 AM

Does it have any useable tail lights or brake pedal pad? And ,would you ship them if I sent you a few bucks for postage? Thanks!

heinriech 10-07-2015 12:32 PM

Looking for parts for my 782. Sending you a PM. Thanks

Randy Littrell 10-08-2015 10:21 PM

If the wiring loom is any good I would love to have it for my 682. Be glad to pay postage as well. thank you.

I may be way off track, but if the 682 has the big bearing spindles and wheels (and I think maybe the axle has to be swapped too) I'd happily take the whole setup if shipping isn't too bad. My 149 just roached yet another set of wheel bearings from the rims being all wallowed out. May as well upgrade if I can afford it rather than spend the same money on the lighter duty replacement parts (wheels mainly... new are very expensive).

If not, thanks for offering some stuff up anyhow. Mighty nice of you to think of us.

edit: To clarify 'm talking about the front axle and I believe the "big" spindles measure 1".

parts

Randy pm your address. I'll get it pulled out and see if it is any good.
Max I'm hoping somebody local will want some of the larger parts so I don't have to ship. But I don't want to scrap anything, so I'll keep you in mind.
I'll be going bow hunting this weekend. I need to get busy next week so I can help some of you guys out.

Maxwelhse 10-09-2015 08:42 PM

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks again for the thought.

I bought a parts missing 682 a while back and am still in need of the a few bits.

The upper and lower shrouds for the muffler.
The muffler if it looks to be in decent shape.

The upper headlight grill which holds the lights.

Will be happy to pay postage as well

I don't know what year it is, but I could use a lower grill (and screen behind it if it has one) if it is an IH built 682 and if a3vo3vo is not going to use the muffler U bolts, then I could use them as one of mine broke on me. The one I have in my 782 is cracked and I have put off replacing it until something better comes along.....and opportunity may be knocking now. If that is too big of a part for shipping, then I understand. Of course I would cover shipping and give you some $$ to boot, as well. Thank you for making this generous offer to us!

Lower grill is worn through as is the ones on my 1811's. Has no screen. Maybe I should keep one clamp for a spare. I could send you one if you wish.

Swannie1982 10-14-2015 10:45 PM

Okay fellow Cubbies. I've mailed out some smaller parts. The larger bulkier parts I would like someone to get local. So I don't have the hassle of shipping. I hope everybody understands.

Any Chance you have a working Hour meter on that 682?

I didn't check the hour meter, but I put it in my spare parts box. Javier if you have a hour meter do a "hour meter repair" search. I had got both of my non-working meters going. If you don't have one I may part with my spare.:bigthink:
