Looks awful heavy for a strong arm lift!

Needs a coal stack on the hood :biggrin2:

That's one way to break through the deep snow.

And if a cow happens to get in the way......all the better!

I actually have wanted something like this the last few winters. The snow gets heavy and deep enough an initial pass of 42" is tough. The subsequent passes I can take half a blade width at a time and it isn't as bad.

That give you a workout!! Looks like it should work though.

Just wait until you run out of forward momentum and have to back up on the initial pass.

since id be using a cub and not a jd i doubt it would run out of forward momentum. :biggrin2:

I love that blade. It would be perfect for a cub with hydraulic lift. :Cub7:

AWESOMESAUCE!!! do you know how easy that would be to build??! put it on parallel lift arms so you could lift it up higher and BOOM! :biggrin2:

Don't forget to hinge the front and add a hydraulic cylinder so you can adjust the width of the V. It would give you more blade when conditions allow.

Isn't a blade like that only ideally suited for sidewalk snow removal? You see them all the time on city-owned Bobcats etc rapid clearing city sidewalks or heavy snow, allowing bi-directional snow removal.

How could a blade like this be any good for anything else...or better than a normal single angled blade that is the most common? A normal blade with a power angle would be by far better suited for driveway snow removal.

Now if the blade could be straitened out, would a cub even be able to push it if there was serious snow?

Are you guys wanting it only for sidewalks? Or the novelty of it? Not trying to be a smartarse, but enquiring minds want to know.

I want it primarily for sidewalks, but that's just me. A straight blade is great but there are a few spots where when we get a lot of wet heavy snow, I can't quite push this 54" through it. Thus, the V-blade would be great.

Actually, what would be GREAT is a blade we could angle, make straight, make a vblade, AND make a snow catcher out of but that's just being greedy :biggrin2:
