Haban sickle parts?
 

Hi, I'm in NE PA as of now and have a contact on a haban sickle but it needs some parts. I've been wanting one for some time and want to get this one since I'm local til tmrw maybe, just not sure if it will even fit one of my Cubs yet, it's in rough shape and needs work, are these that difficult to find replacement parts?

I figured as much. Just south of there 20 miles in bushkill on 209, was in Milford last several weeks. How'd you know?!

Oh right on, when I'm up in the spring and summer we"ll fish the flatbrook. Unusually mild now, last year this time we were ice fishing on my buddy's lake now. Oh well, probably gonna let this old girl pass unless can work something out. Im up here a lot though, leaving tmrw if can wrap this job up, have to meet up Lou.

I have been fishing the flatbrook for long time until recently, the fees were getting out of hand,one day we will meet.

Jersey is crazy on there hunting/fishing licenses, I travel so much I don't much care just want to have fun. I'm gonna try to snatch this pile iff my coworker will let me, probably wil be a blessing in disguise if I don't get it this close to Christmas and all

There is a Haban group on Yahoo where you can get all kinds of information. As far as sickle sections and guards, you get them through Webbs sickle service in Nebraska.
I have two units which neither were built for Cubs. I have modified one to be a rear mount on a Super. Took it on it's maiden run last weekend. A few bugs to work out but it is going to be a useful tool.

Thanks for the help, I ended up getting it along with some other misc items, it might just end up being parts for a more complete unit but we"ll see not hurting anything now.

What's it missing? There aren't too many special parts on one. Most are either fabricated, off the shelf or can be made fairly easily.
