Exactly what I was thinking. That is one good looking Cub. Looks brand new.

biglefty 01-19-2016 07:45 PM

No way I would take that cub out in the elements.

CSXengr 01-19-2016 07:45 PM

That should be a POTW! That sure is pretty!

Alvy 01-19-2016 07:54 PM

I was saying the same thing to myself about how nice it looked but you know what, these things were meant to work so have at it it's only snow!

I'm doing a 108 right now I hope it comes out half that nice

cubcadet 01-19-2016 08:07 PM

Looks great.:beerchug:

darkminion_17 01-19-2016 08:17 PM

Nice tractor but I am switching the milk for an adult beverage...

OK, that tractor is WAY too close to being a trailer queen. Somebody has to call your bluff, post some pics when you bring it back in the garage all covered in snow and muck!:biggrin2:

olds45512 01-19-2016 08:37 PM

You guys are funny.

Sam Mac 01-19-2016 08:49 PM

We are supposed to get plowable snow starting Friday lasting till Saturday. I'll move the BX up to the house garage Thursday so it's ready to go once the crap stops. I will post a pic of it ready to go and trust me milk and bread will not be at the top of my list of necessary things to have on hand. I may get arrested for PWI. :beer2::beer2::beer2::beerchug::beerchug::beerchug ::biggrin2:

drglinski 01-19-2016 09:07 PM

Nice pic. The bread and milk reference is hilarious. Nice looking tractor too.

bocephus1991 01-19-2016 09:26 PM

Very sharp! Don't be afraid to scratch it, they were made to work!

OK you win. You must really enjoy painting! I'm either getting too lazy or cheap to paint anything that nice.:biggrin2:

Snow doesn't hurt paint so I guess I don't see the big deal with working a restored cub.

Super nice tractor! I'm jealous on two accounts a really nice paint job and all the snow you guys are going to get out east. We got about .75 of an inch last night that's not even close enough to attack with the cubs.

Sam Mac 01-20-2016 11:29 AM

Why is it that those that want snow don't get it and those that don't want snow get slammed? :bigthink:

Guy named Murphy is the cause. I think he was a lawyer

olds45512 01-20-2016 01:54 PM

I'm just glad I got my hydraulic lift fixed, me and my 1811 will be ready and waiting.

Not to derail the thread too much...

he's a worthless governor from Michigan.

Sam Mac you are getting snow cuz God knows how much you don't like it. I've been hoping for snow and we've been getting skunked most of the season.

I agree about cubs not being trailer queens. They were made to work.

j4c11 01-20-2016 10:21 PM

Yes, I am also ready for the 5-6" we are going to get on Friday, got the 54" Haban blade mounted and ready to go. Of course I could easily handle that amount of snow with a shovel, but where's the fun it that? :biggrin2:

OK, I'm all ready now. I was a little low on anti freeze so I had to run out before the storm and stock up. :biggrin2: :beerchug:

cadzag72 01-21-2016 05:10 PM

Anti-freeze is just another word for alcohol :beerchug: we know where you went!

Hoping we actually get something so the 125 can flex its muscles, hasn't been out of the shed since the beginning of December!

cadzag72 01-22-2016 01:27 PM

by the way, nice choice with the Chivas.

OK. I'm starting to get worried now. 3pm and we have at least 10" of snow. Still falling and predicting another 5" to 8" tonight and another 3" to 5" tomorrow. How deep snow will a 149 handle. I didn't get the blower mounted till last night. It wore me out. Not able to use it today. Can barely move around. I thought everyone was kidding about having a tractor for every implement, but now i know you were not. Will try to post pictures. This is Elkview, Wv. Hope everyone is safe riding out this storm. Have a great day.
Bob

I'd be out trying to stay ahead of it,---- whole lot easier taking small bites.:bigthink:

Is that...I think it is...it's Southern Antifreeze, my absolute favorite of antifreeze! I knew you had some taste in ya, Sam! :biggrin2:

Sam Mac 01-22-2016 06:16 PM

Gotta have a variety. At the moment I'm doing OJ and Vodka. As far as the weather we've had snow, then sleet now it's back to snow. When it stops I'll deal with it. No big deal drive way is only about 2300' long.:biggrin2:

ol'George 01-22-2016 07:49 PM

Sunshine here most of the day thank goodness, but it's Michigan, it can change in the blink of an eye:beerchug:

1811woody 01-22-2016 07:50 PM

When we get that kinda snow we break out the roof rakes that's alot of extra weight. There comes a point when the shelves are bare of them as well as bread and milk and better known booze i could handle my roof caving in as long as theres booze. Lol Stay safe everybody.
