Luke Aikins freefall landing

The first man to jump from 25,000 feet without a parachute! I don't know how it is possible to walk with a huge pair of balls like this guy has.

Watched that last night. They showed it on time delay in case it went bad.

Scary to say the least! I don't know how he manage to don't poop in his suit, maybe that's why he has to land on his back, shitty airbag

That looks to be a non-insurable activity.

All I can say, is wow!

Apparently some sort of copyright is blocking the vid now.
It has always been my understanding there is never a reason to jump from a perfectly good airplane.

Just Google "Luke Aikins" and I'm sure you find someone sharing this video one way or another. (I change the link but he may get block too)

PS: I agree 200%, jumping from a perfectly flying plane is not a natural act, you need to be a bit crazy :biggrin2:

If you have ever been up in a C119 airplane, I don't believe any one would have to push you out the door. Nothing but a bucket of bolts rattling. Don't know how it ever got off the ground. Jumped 25 times, most of them in Germany in the mid 50"s. That guy jumping with out a parachute is unbelievable. Took more than a big set of you know what. Have a great evening.

There are fools who try to defy the Laws of Physics, those who fear the Laws of Physics, and those who understand them well.

He got his 2 minutes of glory but does it worth it? What this stunt has to offer to our world? Does it make it better? Do we learn something from this? Well I actually do!

I know now he would have reached an average terminal velocity for a human in about 17 seconds. He would be falling at approximately 53 m/s or around 120 Mph and.....

Apparently Chuck Norris can do it without a net, landed on a horse and rode off into the sunset...I personally think If Chuck Norris jump out of this plane the planet need a net to not been crash by him. :biggrin2:

Funny and crazy how some do these things. I think they just have alot of guts and desire to achieve impossible things. I did a search and saw Felix Baumgartner in 2012 jump from 24 miles up and hit velocity of 800mph or something like that.

Sam Mac 08-01-2016 07:08 PM

If I tried that I would have made one big splat on the ground. :biggrin2:
