like old cubs
I bought my first cub (an original) in 1985 from a lady that wanted to trade it in on a new one. $325.00 for the tractor, mower, three point and brand new plow!! It lasted ten years until it blew up and have not had one since.I now have a 126 that I paid $350.00 for last summer and I am wanting to trade or buy an older hydro to restore that will last and help me take care of the 20 acres that I have in the country. This is a good site, if anyone can help me out----Thanks.

Welcome to the site. Where at in Missouri are you located? I'm in southeast Missouri, about 60 miles south of St. Louis. If you're near there, I might know of someone who might help.

Welcome to our Forum.........:Welcome2: How about a Cub 127, which is the same thing as the 126 except it is a hydro. If you want to go to a wide frame Cub...then I would suggest a 129 or a 1250. :ThumbsUp: |
127
Can I interchange a 126 engine, mower deck, etc. with a 123?

Cool! Another MO Cubber on here!
I'm in Springfield, MO. You'll have to come up to Steam-o-rama in September. If my wife sees your post I'm sure she'd try to sell you one of my Cubs! She's threatened already... But once she sees how usefull they are she changes her mind. I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya'. I'm always looking, even when I don't have any extra money. Later, Keith |
New Mo. guy here
Hey Guys;
I am glad to see some more Mo. boys here, :American Flag 1:I am brand new here and I thought, If you're gonna be travelling back and forth. I would be cool if you might swing by Rolla, Mo. and check my toys sometime. I started out with a 1964 100 I bought for $100 three years ago, then last year I picked up a 102 last year. On the 100 I have rebuilt the engine, new clutch, aglug tires, made my own three point, and I have adapted an old bolens plow to fit, along with a David Bradley disc, a Simplicity spring tooth harrow, now I am working on a Wheel Horse drag harrow. I also installed a rear pto. I am still gathering parts for the 102. I have a 16 horse Briggs and Stratton for it, I also have in mind a front end loader and backhoe for it. Anyway this is a great Forum, and I can't wait for more communication, with ya'll. |

I feel a plow day coming on! :beerchug:
With this many guys in Mo. and surrounding area surely we could come up with a place to do some plowing. Randy |
Welcome cadetfarmer! Good to have you here.
I used to go to my grandmothers in Rolla when I was a kid. Randy |
