These post are usually informative, and fun to read. When they get argumentative , I usually go to a different forum for a while.

sawdustdad 06-17-2018 10:15 PM

OK, I'll bite. Chabarenie1, clean the points.

jbrewer 06-18-2018 06:47 AM

Helicoil kits should be easy to get thru any auto parts stores and they work great.

Cub Cadet 123 06-18-2018 08:40 AM

……..continued from page 3...…….

Ok, so I am really confused after reading the posts on this thread. I don't know what the arguments are about and aside from the post about buying a new helicoil for a thread that was started 4 years ago, I am lost. I cannot be the only one on here who is lost, so I guess I will just sit back and enjoy the show...…..

Totally CONFUSED!!

bllwnkl 06-18-2018 09:32 AM

What? Huh? :HeadScratch:

R Bedell 06-18-2018 09:52 AM

Geez, I am confused also. :bash2:

All I know is someone tried to piggy back a thread from 2014. Since I was gone yesterday afternoon, it appears someone (or more) made some sarcastic remarks, that appears to have been deleted by a Moderator.

None the less....Time to move forward.

J-Mech 06-18-2018 09:53 AM

Stuff got deleted. No idea why..... it wasn't bad. Just a newbie asking questions in the middle of this thread.

jbrewer 06-18-2018 10:20 AM

There is likely a predictable answer....

I didn't delete anything. :bigthink:

twoton 06-18-2018 02:04 PM

I flagged what looked to me like a phishing scam and reported it to a moderator. No idea what happened after that. I did not delete my post.

YUP, it did for a 1/2 Hr or so. I was adding the Web Site look up tab and it messed up some of the CSS Coding. It took me a while to get it back to normal.

In CSS Coding, if you miss a quotation ( " ) mark or spacing, it throws it all off. :bash2:

None the less, it is all fixed and working properly.

A BIG Thanks Roland for tying up loose ends and keeping everything running behind the scenes!!! We take for granted that things will always work when we want them to, kind of like going to the garage and firing up a cub to mow the yard and realizing that ole' faithful isn't quite so faithful. Well, speaking for myself and I am sure all the others, we certainly appreciate everything that is done to make this site great!!

Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Jokes and Humor category, because every time I read it I am laughing myself silly!!! Whatever you do, just don't delete the posts in it...….It's a real kick!!!:biggrin2:

Thank you very much. :beerchug:

Since "website maintenance" is way above my pay scale, I just patiently waited.

I remember my Dad saying " want to help? Go over THERE" . Yup, same thing :biggrin2:

Seriously, thank you very much Roland

My post was in a thread about a 1450 in the IH section, I did not start this thread, my guess is that Roland had something to do with it.

DoubleO7 06-19-2018 09:52 PM

This thread gets curious-er and curious-er.

Can we make this thread about what type of oil to use in a splash lubricated engine?? :bigthink:

Or, possibly about synthetic grease as compared to regular grease??

Use lard oil, smells like bacon so you'll get done mowing faster and not be late for super.

R Bedell 06-19-2018 11:55 PM

YES....it was me.

All I did was separate content from from an old thread in 2014, to a new thread. It was my understanding, that someone lodged a complaint to Sam. Since the complaint had NOTHING to do with the 2014 thread I separated them. This was MY doing, NOT Sam's.

Now, this thread can be easily deleted. It will take less than 10 seconds to do so. It really has nothing to do with Cub Cadets.

But where's the fun in that??? :biggrin2:

I'm a global mod at a dirt bike site and threads like these can be fun. :beerchug:

:bigthink:

We could put it to a vote....my vote would be KEEP IT!!!! I'm smiling bigger than a barn cat that's cornered 3 mice every time I read it! It is not my go to thread whenever I need a giggle.:IH Trusted Hand:

Heck, it kind of reminds me of my favorite comedy team, The Marx Brothers. Like when Groucho was explaining why they changed the name of their move from Cracked Ice to Duck Soup! There is no rhyme or reason to the posts and who cares if it pertains to cub cadets, after all it is in the General Talk session. I'm tired of being reasonable...….bring me my tap dance shoes, a vat of whipped cream, and twelve live weasels!!!

Do you guys use homogenized or decaffeinated blinker fluid in your 1-35007 when you flip it over?

This is a rediculous place to buy a lizzard. I'm having doubts if I will ever let you guys wash my prius ever again, because the last time I ate a bubble gum steak it gave me anthrax farts. Never got invited to spank the mop bucket in China after that one

I wouldn't recommend it.
