Another Tractor But NOT A QuietLine

I was at an auction yesterday and rather liked this little gem. It runs very well and the variator even works properly. The mower deck is quite bad. It is 1979 model. I made sure to have an IH Cub Cadet in the picture somewhere just to keep this picture legal here in OCC! :biggrin2:

Looks to be in nice shape Beth. Congratulations on the new toy. :beerchug:

Congrats Beth! The guy I work for has one with a front blade I have got running twice from bad gas. It still has not pushed anything. :bash2: He still won't sell me the 317 roller sitting in the shop either. :BB&YS: I really want to put that Chinese diesel I have in it.

Nice one Beth. What size deck on that one? 46?

darkminion_17 07-11-2018 08:35 PM

It's green, most go to pieces. Does it have a wide base oil pan engine in it?

Nice looking tractor!

ol'George 07-11-2018 09:32 PM

Nothing wrong with that ride!!
In it's day it was top of the line as you know.
I had a 210 for 11 years, could not kill it.
Only complaint was I wore the deck through, I mean it was paper thin.
And like all of them, the front deck hangers always needed attention, when you put 100 or more hours a year on them.
Son still loves his 214 but he only mows a small 1/4 acre lot.

Hmmmm…..very interesting pick up at the auction Beth, but what else did you buy? No woman goes to an auction for just a garden tractor!:biggrin2:

So, what are you plans for this one, missy?

Nice find on the JD!

Terry C 07-12-2018 01:30 PM

Somebody took care of that JD, but used it too. Nice Find! :beerchug:

bllwnkl 07-12-2018 09:35 PM

I wonder what it would look like painted yellow and white?

Well I hope you can get that 317 roller....would love to see how you put a Chinese diesel in it.

Have no Idea...have not looked at it too closely. I will post pics when I run it through the the Cub House shop.

The neighbor bought a 210 about the same time my dad bought the 1000. I always like how smoothly it ran compared to the Cub Cadet...But dad's Cub was much tougher for what we all did with it.

I love going to tractor auctions...big stuff...little stuff doesn't matter. If I like it and can find a home for it..I buy it.

We had actually planned to visit your fine Commonwealth this summer, but I don't believe we are going to be able to make it. It was going to be on two wheels anyway, lol. :biggrin2:
