Found on Craigslist

Has anybody ever seen anything like this? Found on Craigslist. I’m thinking 125? Almost looks like a kit.
I seen that on Craigslist. My first thought was a ‘homemade’ type deal forklift on the Cub. Is it a 125? Possibly. I don’t know of any kits that where available.
After doing some research, Danco company made a forklift attachment for the front. Also, another company made a forklift attachment for the rear, Donnelly company maybe? Anyways, cool find on Craigslist.
Wow what a neat find. I’ve never heard of such a thing for these tractors, very cool! Is it running?
That would actually be handy to have around the shop! We used to have a TINY AC forklift, only had about 2,500 lb capacity. You could fit it about anywhere.
That is a cool find! It's likely to be the hydro (125), otherwise how do you operate the manual? I wonder if anything special was done to the tires?

They want $600. I have absolutely no use for a forklift, but I can’t seem to get this thing out of my head. I’m trying to upload a better picture. If you zoom in you can kinda see how the steering and drive system hooks up. Definitely not homegrown.

The pump on the front looks a little funky. Definitely a head turner fully restored.
Can you post the link for others here? Someone would want it if you're not interested buying. I had no luck using the posting id I saw on bottom left of one of the pictures. Too far for me to bother. Thanks!
$600 and you get a free 125. If it wasn’t 15 hours away it’d be in my garage. That is definitely awesome, you probably won’t see that again, better get it. Not being able to get it out of your head is a sign you need to own it

It's nice to know Cousin Eddie has found gainful employment after being laid off at the asbestos factory.

I like that it uses the rear axle for the weight instead of the front.
Still gonna need a bunch of weight on the front to be able to lift anything, much less steer it once lifted!!
Nato are you intrested in it Im about 20 minutes away from it let me know if I can be of assistance. Its been on there awhile I was kinda keeping an eye on it :beerchug:
Riley, what’s up buddy? I can’t seem to pull the trigger on this thing. It looks cool, and I do need another project. If I don’t come up with something soon, my wife is going to want me to start on her list of things to do..... and believe me, that list does not include anything with a Kohler motor. What are your thoughts? Does it look homegrown to you?
Now that is something one doesn't see everyday. Pretty cool indeed!
I really cant say for sure if it is real or homemade the 125 under it looks nice though
You'll typically see things like this in Farm Show magazine. It would be handy for me, to load and unload my Sweptside, and for 600$ I'd be on it quicker than two rivets of a jack-rabbit's as$! There was a thread here that had a some-what similar, one-arm hoist tractor- build going for it, but was quickly and ( rudely ) shot down by the great know-all's.
An actual fork lift attachment offered by Danco, this was mounted on an Original. The attachment was front mounted, and included a heavy front axle. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!! |
That's pretty cool. I'm sure you could find some use for it.

That's a cool cub. The tower that is converted to a seat column looks very well done. Either someone knows what they are doing quite well if it is homemade or else this is from a company. Why not ask the owner on what (s)he knows about it. Don't worry about whether you need it or not. Heck, if each of us did that we would only have 1 or 2 cubs!! If the wife complains, just tell her you needed a "little pick me up"! Waiting to see more pics once you go and get it...… Cub Cadet 123 |
