New Member from Alabama ready to rebuild a 149
4 Attachment(s)
Hello from Alabama!! I will have a Cub 149 in my possession within the next month and I hope to use all of the resources here to help me get it back up and running like a new machine. I have attached the only pictures I currently have of my tractor here but as soon as I go pick it up from my friends house I will probably start a thread with my rebuild process. If anybody see's anything in these first few pics that you know I'll need, feel free to let me know so I can make a parts list.

Go for it. I am restoring my 782 for the 2nd time. I will never give up my Cub Cadet for a plastic tractor.

Welcome to OCC! Great choice, I’m in the process of restoring my 149 as well.

I hope I can clean the carb and fuel tank and at least get it to start up as-is to see what I'm working with before I start digging into stuff. I already noticed that the plastic fan is missing on mines. |

Just reporting back. Finally got the 149 home. The original rear wheels were rotted out. I had to put on another set to get it to roll off the trailer. I'll be starting a thread soon to document my progress.

Bud, You have got your hands full here!!
Rear lift is a big plus though. Good luck!! |
