106 and 107- glam shots!!
11 Attachment(s)
Well happy Thanksgiving to all of you here, first of all
With no plans at all today because of gosh darn social distancing, I realized that although I have to stay away from my family, I don't need to social distance from my cubs !! :biggrin2: So I pulled the 106 and 107 out for a bit of a photoshoot, and it was awesome. They are my twin pair of Cubs, and they look amazing next to each other!! First time I've ever had them both running simultaneously, and that was awesome too! (yes, they were both running when the pics were taken, somehow it's hard to tell though) Okay, pics or it didn't happen :beerchug: Attachment 106364 Attachment 106365 Attachment 106366 Attachment 106367 Attachment 106368 Attachment 106369 Attachment 106370 Attachment 106371 Attachment 106372 Attachment 106373 Attachment 106374 |
Good looking tractors! You've got a start on completing the set now.
Thanks for sharing the photos. :beerchug: |

I've seen a 126 and a 127 for sale recently, but it's just not the right time currently. Coming up on winter, so best save up some extra cash for spring and I can go buy another one then! :biggrin2::biggrin2: |
Just sold a 126 with a snow blade the other day!
|
I basically did the same without the family around...Enjoyed the day so far..

Those are my favorite series of Cadets.
I got my 73 out and took my daughter for a ride in the no. 2 cart (sorry no pics) and let her drive a bit. |

Great looking team. Unfortunately the first thing I saw in the pics was the
green grass however. How in the world does a guy have green grass to park his Cubs on at Thanksgiving? It certainly is a nicer contrast to the yellow Tractor: then the white stuff. Thanks for the photos. :beerchug: Ken |

On the topic of that grass, I mowed it last saturday (last time this year) with the 106!! Have to agree though, it's a much better contrast to the CC yellow :beerchug: |
All those good looking cubs and not one ready for snow duty? :biggrin2:
They do look good! |

Gosh, no wonder we all like Cubs so much, so many problems! Or maybe I just bought a bad machine... Sorry about my rant, it just felt good to let all my frustration with that machine out. Most of it is easily repairable, I'll get it done eventually. The only thing I'm clueless about, and the one thing I don't like, is the Variable speed system. I don't see any way to adjust it or anything to make it work properly, unless my drive belts are stretched. In that case, if I ever find replacements I gotta tear apart the whole thing, because in order to replace them the whole moving pulley assembly has to come out. Definitely not a simple task. No wonder I don't get frustrated with my Cubs, even with a permanent tunnel cover nothing is that hard to do. Heck, I can have the hydro off the 107 in like 30 minutes and depending on the task get it back on and ready to go within the next hour. Oh well, this site isn't about JD, it's about Cubs, and I like it that way :biggrin2: I do very badly want a blade for the 106. Only issue is, they aren't very plentiful around here. There was a blower for sale a while back but it was set for a wide frame. I'll get one eventually, maybe next year :beerchug: Edit: I went and read the repair manual for my JD and may have figured out that the reason it's variator won't work right is that the center portion of the 2 pulleys is stuck, and doesn't move side to side like it's supposed to. I will check that out tomorrow. Anyway, no more Deeres!! This is a Cub Website, why am I taking it off topic? |
They look good! My favorite series as well.
