Restored/rebuilt 1210
Thinking of buying a Cub 1210 that is completely restored and never used since. Rebuilt engine, new paint, tractor completely taken apart. I think these have the aluminum rear end. $1200???? Pros and cons of this model.

manual lift...

Yes manual lift. Have a 1250 with hydro lift currently that I’m thinking of selling, just don’t know much about this later series. Not sure how resale is on it or how they stack up

Pictures would be most helpful.

It looks great. Was the engine rebuild a complete rebuild or just a hone and new rings?
|
I have had a few engines done by the same individual and he does quality work. Was a complete rebuild. Turned crank, bored. My 1250 I’m going to sell was done by him and runs excellent. At least on mine he used all Kohler parts
|
I would buy this one before I would even think about buying a new one.
|
Some guys have all the luck. Around here it costs that much just to have a Kohler single-cylinder rebuilt.
|
This gentleman who rebuilds engines has the Cub fever! Has been rebuilding these out of his machine shop in his back yard for years. Ironically turns out that he rebuilt this Cub 1210 as well.
The seller is an older man with time who just wanted something to tinker around with. Loves painting and such to keep him busy. I just don’t know this series like I do the Quietline and 109-149. Is it the quality, durability as what I’m used to? |
The 1210 is pretty much the same as a QL. Engine is mounted the same way. Great tractors. My first new Cub was a 1210. Ran the crap out of it for over 20 years.

Purdy looking tractor. I should give you many years of service.
