2011 Calendar

I created calendar for 2011. It's sort of in a draft mode now, so I'm open to any comments or if anyone has any high resolution pictures to submit, please do so at terryreed2@aol.com.

See calendar here:

Looks good Terry! The 1st image looks a bit off with the 1 cub backwards. The snow covered cub is sweet! The best pic is the plowing pic with the mountains behind it. That's a awesome pic! Are these going to printed or digital format?

Let me know if any of my pics fit your needs and I'll send you a high res version of it.

T-Mo 10-01-2010 08:50 AM

Duke,
Send any or all of your pictures - or just pick out what you think is the best picture.

Right now it will only be offered in the digital format - but if anyone wants to have these printed (and yes, even sell them), I don't mind.

Thanks for your comments - like I said it's still in draft mode so I'm open to any changes (especially in the pictures).

Terry , Nice work on the calendar . It looks pretty good to me . Only thought I had was maybe some of the cadets of the week pics or save that for 2012

T-Mo 10-01-2010 09:47 AM

I wanted to include some of the Picture of the Week photos, but I was having trouble with the 640 x 480 size limits here - they were too small for the calendar and I couldn't get them to size right. I might try to resize them using Irfanview, which is good for reducing size - maybe I can use it to increase the size.

Matt G. 10-01-2010 09:57 AM

Once you resize a picture smaller, it's not coming back. The data is gone. The pixels will just get bigger when you enlarge it.

I apologize if my email of pictures crashed your inbox...it took awhile to send.

T-Mo 10-01-2010 10:47 AM

Matt,
I had a feeling the quality would be "compromised" once they were reduced to 640 x 480. I think the method I have of "enlarging" pictures works okay, but I have noticed some degradation in quality on some of the pictures.

I'll check my email inbox later today. Thanks.

The calendar looks great, Terry! :High5:

Looks good T-Mo! I think there should be some more RED in there though! :biggrin2.gif:

That's probably going to change - on the red I'm mean. It's also been pointed out that since the 50th anniversary of the CC is coming up, I should include an Original. I guess I need to find a good high resolution picture of one, though as some know, I'm no fan of the Original. Maybe a shot of GCbaileys CCO and GT2500.

Gary,
If you see this, maybe send me a high resolution picture of your Picture of the Month picture.

Keith's (klejeune) O with the danco loader is sweet. The one pic in his profile with the field in the background would be a nice addition.

T-Mo 10-01-2010 06:50 PM

I used Keith's picture for last year's calendar - I don't want to repeat the pictures unless I have to. See November 2010:

What about asking the owners of the picture of the week to resubmit their pictures to you in original , larger format .

T-Mo 10-02-2010 08:18 AM

I could do that, but it would mean sending out several emails or pms to those who have submitted pictures (and I can do that). But I'm hoping those who have submitted will see this and send me a higher resolution pictures if they have any.

juniors1282 10-02-2010 08:34 AM

Terry, I can send you another picture, should I just send it normal size thru your email?

T-Mo 10-02-2010 08:41 AM

It would be best to send it to this email account: terryreed2@aol.com

That way I won't confuse the calendar pictures for the Picture of the Week pictures.

juniors1282 10-02-2010 09:08 AM

Terry, I sent you one let me know if thats what you need or if you need somethnig else.

T-Mo 10-02-2010 10:00 AM

Junior,
Got it - thanks.

juniors1282 10-02-2010 10:11 AM

No problem, gald to help.

Cub Cadet 123 10-02-2010 03:17 PM

Terry.....great idea on the calendar!!! That would be great if each Cub dealer had them and could sell them for you!!! If you want more red ones, I like the modified 149 that Merk's dad has!!! All of your pictures that you chose look great. My only recommendation (but this wouldn't be the case for all locations) would be to have snowy scenes in the months of Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb, when snow is usually found in the northern climates. I noticed that you had done this for the Dec. and Jan months, but a lot of us sees snow in Nov. and Feb. as well. Just a suggestion...... Keep up the great work!!

T-Mo 10-02-2010 06:18 PM

I did had more snowy pictures for last year's calendar, but a Texas member here wasn't too thrilled on seeing snow. We won't mention his name, will we, Myron?:biggrin2.gif:

cub149 10-02-2010 09:07 PM

Please leave Arpil as it is! I couldn't imagine having that view in my backyard. Do you know where that is?

johncub7172 10-03-2010 12:41 AM

Looking back, Matt did a nice job on his IH 100. And I think your calander is gonna be great, cant wait!
