Need an axle seal part number
 

Okay, I need to change the axle seals on a 3000 series tractor and the Cub part number is 921-3020A. This is the same seal that the cyclops machines with the 30mm axles take. Does anybody have a NAPA part# or other part # that I can get local? I'm sure my Cub dealer can get it but it will be next week before he would have it.:bash2: The seal is 30mm x 60mm or 61mm, I didn't pull it yet and I can't get a good measurement with my caliper. Thanks.

Does the old seal have a number on it? Or have you got the axle out where you can see it..... :bigthink:

Timken makes a 30mm X 62mm seal..... Part number 306207XX. But it's a really odd number.

Now, there is a 30mm X 58mm seal, that should be readily available. Timken #3907. O'Reilly's shows it in stock at the warehouse in my area.

Thanks J. The only number that I can make out on the outside is "MTP 1193". I did a search on 30x60 & 30x61 and not much if anything came up. I guess I need to pull it and measure it.

No, and I can't tell if it's 60mm or 61mm without pulling it. I'm thinking 60, but I'll just order 2 from Cub and measure it when I pull it.:bash2: They're not much, it just takes too long to get them. Thanks for asking and I will let you all know what size they are.

That appears to be the correct size.... and available at Napa too. Looks right to me! :ThumbsUp:

Thanks PHGsteelworker! I called Oriely's and they will have them this afternoon. They have it in a National seal part# 474256 for $4.99 each.
