It never works for me either! I have lost posts I have started, and tried to find them with search, and nothing, or way too vague. Im not searching through 200 some threads.

If both of you would provide examples of searches that you are referencing, I 'll look into the situation.

Roland - type in ' 104 ' and see what you find. Then tell me no one has written a post with 104 in it, or as title. :beerchug:

true... I did a search from the homepage of '104. Got this:

1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

for my next example type blade. I know its vague, but that works... Maybe it just doesn't work with numeric characters. I don't know.

R Bedell 04-26-2011 09:22 PM

Searching for "104", I got the same thing....No matches

Searching for "blade" I got 25 hits on a page and 14 pages.

I'll looking into the Software People's forum for add'l information.

I had to figure out a way to get back to my thread, to add to it. I figured to subscribe to my thread, as search never worked. oh well. more than one way to kill something. :beerchug:

You can search from your profile if your looking for "any" of your postings or threads "started" by you. I might take a little bit, but it will find it. Much easier for the threads "started" by you. :HeadScratch: Just throwing out :TwoCents:

I think thats how I found my thread before, when I subscribed to it. Thanks for making me .02c richer Mike! :beerchug:
