new guy in TN with some questions
 

hey everyone.
How's it all going?

been into cub cadets for years... back when we had our red 682... that went through alot of abuse... and then got scrapped off... when i was younger. im pretty sure i know wheres its sitting so may try and get it one day :)

however my questions.
i dont own a cubby at the moment but wanting too.
found on on craigslist and wanted to see what you guys think or can tell what model it is?

ive went and looked at it and couldnt get the whole serial number written down.
and if it did say what model its painted over... for some reason he decieded to spray pain it... which SUCKS but it was his.
anyway im looking at it now and wandering if u can tell the model? and anything else if u can.

i went and saw it in person. its honestly not in bad shape.thank god its a gear driven.... hydrostat for the loss! deck looks good and mower looks good... just needs to be gone through and cleaned up.
i wanna try to restore it :)

It's a 102 or 122. Got to look at the engine tag to see what it has for a motor. If the engine model is K301 it's a (12 hp) 122. If the engine model is K241 it's a (10 hp) 102. Good price too! Have you heard it run?

methos, you know i did look at the engine tag... and i didnt pay no never mind to it cause i was trying to find model number. lol :)
has no headlights??? dont know if that helps or not.
looks good for its age.
him painting it ruined it in my eyes... painted over the decals, stickers / instruction timplates that are there. everything. in my mind the price is to high after he destroyed it.
I shot her a offer of 200$ and shes suppose to talk to her hubby last night and let me know tommorow. he's deployed.
havent heard it run. but 6 months ago it cut the grass then got parked in the garage and he got on that bird to iraq.
so it does run.
just needs tlc.

My 1200 ran before I did a master rebuild on it so becareful on wording. I would try to start it and see if you can get it running. Good luck and keep us posted!

going back over with a battery charger... gonna get it running and check it out.
however the coil wire is laying on the seat.
it does look exactly like this on the driver side. but wheres the coil wire hook into?
is it easy? or is it a PITA like a push mower? lol
