42" Front Blade Mounted
Does anyone happen to have a pic, of their front blade mounted to a 100, or similar NF Cub Cadet? I'd like to see how it's mounted front and rear. I looked at the manual, but want to see some real pics. I'm really excited about my blade! Thanks!

Here's a 72 with the quick attach blade on. And if you follow the sub frame back you'll see the sub frame by the foot rest. You can mount this blade on a 100 also. I don't like using the early push frames becuase they twist. If you have an early sub frame use a mule drive as the mounting plate instead of the lift plates. Much stronger. I hope this works for ya.

Thanks Mike! Here's a pic of my blade and sub frame. Is it an early one? Sorry, to be a bother, but could you possibly get me a up close pic? I appreciate it! :beerchug:

Allen,
That is an early one. There are no QA pins on the blade sub frame like on the picture on the left.Yours is like the one on the right minus the extensions which you would use if you did not have a mule drive. http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/a...ofscan0006.jpg |
Thanks Lew! I appreciate it!

Here is a eary side view. (V plow)
Here is a quick attach for a NF (Single blade) a plow for a wide frame. (2 plows) wide frames have a curve to the sub frame. By the way looks like one upright is twisted already or just a bad angle on your blade. |
I like that V plow blade Mike!!

Thanks Mike, I believe it's just the angle of the blade. :beerchug:

I was looking at the 100 today. How is the rear of the sub frame going to fit on the right footrest rod? I already have the white bracket on the implement lift, that the lift rod attaches to. There's no room for the rear of the sub frame on the right side. Is that where the 10 flat washers come in, that are mentioned in the manual? I've learned a lot the last few days! I'd love to see a pic, of the right footrest with the sub frame, if anyone has one. Thanks!

There should be room or just put on the inside of the rockshaft. But if it's on the inside of the frame it has more tendenacy to bend the push frame.
Lew do you want to buy it? It was on an 100. I'm going to be in the process to get ride of a bunch of cubs. Call me for whats available. |
