I had no idea what I was getting into when I started to replace the wiring harness. I'm getting close though!

What the heck is the yellow square with a dark wire (actually blue) leading to the ignition switch?

I'm pretty sure thats a plug that would be used with an electric lift...check the wide frame diagram, its marked on there.

there is a place for it and the connector looks right... but i couldn't figure out why there would need to be a wire attaching the starter switch to the electric lift switch...

ya got me, but it might be for power only, and the switch might be seperate? I know that add on electric lifts come with a small wire loom, but I have no idea how it all goes together.

If you happen to notice it is coming off of the same wire that provides constant 12v to the coil. When the key is in the 'on' position that connector would have constant 12v going to it. I would say the electric lift connector would connect to that. Just a thought. :beerchug:

auxiliary hot, for any thing that needed switched voltage, radio, cig lighter, or what ever.
