Bad Backs Suck... :(

Well I had a great day working on the 128 and got a few things assembled, but alot of it was heavy and awkward to deal with, such as the trans and frame mating, bending over working on the 3 point and lift arm, on and on and on. Well I am paying for it tonight. The ole back is catching and trying to cause me major problems. Just simply saying to everyone out there, even tho these tractors are the small scale, take your time, watch what your doing and protect your back along with the rest of yourself. You just don't realize how much it can hurt once you have messed it up for life. No, I am not complaining, just a word of caution to everyone here. :beerchug:

DWayne, I know what you mean about bending over when working on things. Though my back is in decent shape, it still bothers me more now than in years past. I assume you wear a back support belt. Sure hope you're feeling better soon. :)

I know exactly what you mean.... I'm 30 and have had a bad back since I was 19..... stupid teenage girl drivers!!!! I've had two fused together and still get cortisone shots seems like 3 times a year. Best thing that's helped me has been working out regularly.

Hope your back feels better soon, DWayne.

I feel your pain Dwayne!

I'm not saying that as a pun - as someone with ongoing back issues, the only thing I've had happen that feels worse is kidney stones . . .

Also guys - be careful ALL of the time, even a small lift done the wrong way can do damage. The worst time for me came from lifting an empty laundry basket (less than 1lb) and I was down for 4 days!

Get well soon Dwayne and make sure to ask for help if you need it!

Thanks for all the replies. It's pretty tender this morning, but I know from history if I will take it easy for the rest of the week I should be feeling normal again soon. No playing with the 128 for a few days..

Sounds like a fine time to sit down with your favorite beverage and catch up on all of those OCC threads that you didn't have a chance to read :beerchug:
