Sunflower Reel Mower
2 Attachment(s)
I was recently given a set of Sunflower Reel Mowers. I finally decided to take a look at them. To my surprise I was able to free up the moving parts and get them working. I pulled them behind my 109 for a test run and they worked good. I will need to make the rollers which go on the back of each one. The only piece missing is one of the rods and brackets for the rollers to mount on. The one picture shows one with the brackets and rod. If anyone knows where I might locate one, shoot ma an email.

Now those are cool. I can't wait to see you get them all fixed up. :beerchug:

First time I have seen this one! Still remember pushing one when I was a kid. Took all I had to get it to move. Good thing I rode my bike a lot, as it helped my leg strength.

thats cool. What is the total cutting width? Looks about 60" from here.

I wish could find one of those. are you going to turn the rollers on a wood lathe? I made a roller for my reel mower by using exhaust pipe and freeze plugs welded is that a specialty wheel ? Don 128
