need advice asap
 

Am going to look at a snowblower for older cub. Guy says he does not have the frame, just the blower and gearbox. I don't know anything about cub snow blowers. He only wants $30.00. I don't know what else I will need to use this, I'm guessing some kind of subframe like on a mower or snow plow. $30.00 seems cheapor am I wasting my time.

There are just a few brackets that hold the assembly. They work for both the NF and WF. I would jump on that price! Just my .02

If the gear box alone is good, they bring 3X that in season.

for 30 bucks I would take my chances! You can always check with the sponsors who sell used parts, place a wanted ad here for the rest of the parts you need and/or scour ebay and craiglist.

I went and looked at it, it was a QA 36. The srew turned easy, the blower it self was in great shap, had been stored inside, no rust. The gearbox was there and turned fine. The gear box was loose, I mean not attached to the blower. What will it fit and how hard will it be to get the mounting to hook it up. Will try to get some pics up after I get them off my phone.
