LP head = how much HP?
 

I have a LP head that will fit on my 1450's K241AQS engine. My question is how much HP will I have total when I put the two together? :bigthink:

You still have around 10 Horse power. The better head to use on a daily worker is the one with the sparkplug over the exhaust valve.

Oops! i made an typo, its an K321 AQS, but realitivily i should have about 14hp even with the LP head. Now the head that you have mentioned is what kind and how does it effect the power output of these motors? Thanks Merk!

The LP may or may not work on your K321. Exhaust valve may hit the head due to the lack of clearance for valve.....bigger exhaust valve.

I like the head that has the sparkplug over the exhaust valve. The area between the valves on this head is not restrictive. The area on the LP head has some restrictiion. You do loose a little compression with the head that has sparkplug over the exhaust valve. It's not enough to notice in my book.

Power output depends on the condiation of the motor.
