Backside help

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to reduce the bumping and jolting my 882D seat delivers? I have a lot of tree roots etc on my property, and the jolting I get when I go over them is enough to rattle my teeth. I have been wondering whether to replace the existing spring under the seat ( which bottoms out as soon as I sit on it) with a much heavier one, perhaps an elliptical leaf spring. Has anybody tried this? Any other ideas? My backside would be grateful.

Three things that come to mind.

(A) Go over the bumps slower

or

(B) Good ole ingenuity to soft the seat, ie, extra padding

or

(C) Good ole ingenuity to add extra spring support to the OEM design,
