I recently acquired a Cub Cadet. It has been painted over, so doesn't have the model number sticker on it. I am trying to determine the model and year of the tractor. It has a 1 cylinder Briggs motor, 4 speed/reverse tranny. I finally found the serial #, but need to know the model # to order parts.
The tractor runs great, but I will probably need parts at some future time.
After lots of hours looking at pics and through google, I think it is either a 482 or 1100.
Does anyone know of a web site that gives model/year numbers from the serial number?

Tell what your serial number is and we can go from there hopefully :)..

That's out of the range for serial numbers...got a pic of the dataplate or the whole tractor. A picture really is worth a thousand words.
