Can someone with a NF Hyd. lift take a quick measurement for me?

I have a rockshaft that I think is for an electric lift, I need to cut a section out a reweld it, but I don't know how much to take out. I need to know the distance between the red lines in the photo below:

I have a rockshaft for a NF tractor w/electric lift (100% positive) on my 100, and the dimension you asked for measures 2 5/8" on my rockshaft. From the pictures I have, it looks like the center of the tab that the cylinder attaches to (on the rockshaft) matches up with or is very close to the outside face of the tractor's framerail.

Thanks Mikey!

FYI this is going on a 125...
Mine measures 2-5/8" as well, but if I place the rockshaft above the tunnel and eyeball it, it looks like the tab that the cylinder clevis attaches to is about and inch to the outboard side of the framerail. I wonder what the difference is? Either the 100 has a wider frame (doubt it) or the bracket that attaches to your rockshaft is welded more inboard than mine is.

Anyone out there have a lift on a 104/105/124/125?

The measurement on my hydraulic lift is about 1 7/8 where your lines are. I had a hydraulic #19 and an Electric #19 and I cut out 3/4 '' to put it on my 104.
They ended up almost identical.

Thanks scleve! That's what I needed to know...

Your Welcome. I am talking to a machinist about making some. I have 6 hydraulic lifts on my narrow frames but lack the # 19 bracket on 2 and several mounting pieces on another. I'm not sure if anbody else needs them.

That sounds right. My rockshaft can slide west/east a fair amount (3/4" min.), almost like there should be a spacer bushing to something to hold the rockshaft a bit more.

Did you drill a hole in the rockshaft bar to add a carter pin. The exact measurements are in the Tech section. It locks the side to side movement.

Well I finally got everything together and painted up, started installing it last night - the rockshaft is still too wide! Looks like I need to take another 5/8" out for a total width of 1-1/4" (between the red lines in the pic at the top). I wonder what the difference is? scleve, what kind of tractor do you have?

After much trial and error, assembly, disassembly, reassembly... it's alive!
