Hydraulic angle attachment for blade
I have been contemplating building the mounts to angle the blade on my 1650with dual hydro. I have built the mounts and planned on using a lift cylinder from a quietline. After looking at some photo's of other kits I realized the piston on the cylinder might be to small. I know the cylinder will have to be redone as the ports will exit to the rear and not at top or bottom. Any ideas would be welcome.

Try using a cylinder from a 149 or a 169. They match the original style.

I used a 1.50" bore x 7" stroke cylinder for mine.

I built my own using original brackets for the larger cylinder and used a hydraulic cylinder off of a combine head lift. Cant remember what brand of combine, but I went to a combine salvage yard and had lots to pick from, Had original cylinder to base my measurements from and the one closest I had to just shorten the ram by cutting a little off and rebrilling for the pin on the end. The one I ended up using also had a 1" ram. It will never bend. Good luck and if I can answer any more questions just email me.
