Good morning everybody!! A little background, I bought my 1862 just to cut grass on my 2 acres and not put the hours on the 1882 (and not have to take the loader off it all the time I wanted to cut grass.) Now I have a few questions regarding my 1862.
I know its a garden tractor so is it safe to assume that it is heavy duty enough to put a 3 point on and plow? Would it be good at it?
Also, what equivalent IH Cub model would it be close to?

I'd say it's close to the 782 without the power steering, cast front and rear.

Thanks aagitch for the reply. I guess that the tractor can be good for plowing then? If the 782 can plow then the 1862 can as well?

Yep...I'll be plowing with the aluminum rear in my diesel this weekend.
