New CC Addict in West Central Missouri
I started with the 124 I found stuck in the mud behind a shed. Went thru it completely, including 48" deck. Works so good I gave away my new MTD. Then decided I should by the "parts tractor" 127 (42 in. deck and snow/dirt blade) with the Non running 12 horse. Stuck exhaust valve, fixed it, repainted everything, rebuilt the deck, awesome machine! Spread out 10 yds. of dirt in 2 hrs. already paid for itself and winter snow isn't weven hers yet!. the 1200 had a blown k301aqs which I rebuilt. Disassembled entire tractor, did my thing and its a screamin machine! Snow thrower for it is on the way now. the 125 hydro is still out in the hedgerow waiting it's turn, the model 100 is down to the basic frame and all the parts for 5 10hp kohlers are in 20 boxes in the garage (I have lots of extra 10 hp parts and 100 parts. The original is on a rack (90 % of the parts) in the back yard. The 3 extra early model rear ends are on a pallet.
I can barely maneuver in the shop because i picked up an extra k301aqs and its being torn down now prior to getting rebuilt. Please, someone stop me! I don't have a wife to do it for me! The rear PTO for the 124 (with the angle 90degree gear and housing) is under the table in a box because I have not figured out what it can be hooked up to. Clearly I need either a Mentor to guide me thru this journey or a therapist to get me on the right path! Or both? Any body know a psychologist that likes old cub cadets? I have lots of photos, but don't know how to post them as they are high quality digital |
