HELP: Tiller box and Sleeve hitch?

I've mounted my tiller box and was mounting my Brinly sleeve hitch when I ran into troubles. Now before I go do something stupid and cut or grind, what's the secret to getting my Brinly hitch to fit correctly? My hitch bracket is hitting the tiller box here as seen in the picture. I have tried the lower mounting holes and the upper holes, still hitting the bracket. Is there something I am overlooking? Or do I need to make some owner modifications? Any help is appreciated!!!

Max you can put some extensions on your sleeve hitch or buy a sleeve hitch that will clear the gear box. I've been Lucky and have two that will clear the gear box.

Heres a link with pics of the extensions.

Thanks Duke!
I had no idea there was such a thing as extensions for a sleeve hitch. Now why didn't I think of that?:bash2: It sure is nice to have a forum like this where all your Cub questions get answered so quickly, you guys are the greatest!!:beerchug:
Now does anyone here have a set of those extensions they want to sell?:bigthink:

I think you will also have to have an extended lift pin when using the hitch, and the standard pin for lifting the tiller. :bigthink:

I know http://www.xtrememotorworks.com has an extension kit for $68 (kinda pricey).

Well I got it!!:biggrin2:
I almost forgot about the custom stainless steel hitch I bought from a member here on the forum. It fit like a charm!!! Thanks again guys, here are some fresh pictures for you to see. I also wondered if there was any easier way to fill my rear end back up with Hytran that I lost while mounting the gear box? That plug in the rear is really buried behind the gear box!!!:bigthink:

You get to take the gear box off to top it off.. But to make things easy on myself, I have a really big syringe with a couple feet of hose I use to inject hydro fluid into the rear. A big turkey baster would probably work as well too.

Thanks DX3, I did use a syringe and hose last time. I kinda figured I could unbolt the gear box and just swing it out of the way a bit. Thanks again for all the help!:beerchug:
