exhaust stack...
repaired the exhaust stack on the 149 today... it was loose and flopping around, and over all just a piece of junk. its still junky but now its welded with a pretty chrome tip! I think im going to build a custom exhaust and run it in front of the engine similar to westofb's on his resto mod... maybe a parallel muffler like some of the diesels? Thats another Saturday though!
repaired stack w/ turn down angled away from my ears !! http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...9/cc4stack.jpg heres a picture that shows the repainted rear wheels http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...ms_picture.jpg my LT1045 and the 149.. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...%20149/cc3.jpg http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...%20149/cc2.jpg |

That muffler looks nice, but needs to be braced to one of the head bolts if it isn't already, or you will eventually break the exhaust port off of the block.
