Tiller belt chart error?
 

Part# IH-487045-R2 located in the link below is 3/8" by 144 7/8"
I have searched around and everywhere else says its 13/32" X 141.8" so I am guessing that is right. Just thought I would bring it up so someone who knows can fix it. I need to order one. I see the actual part number sold at a few different places but I need to get one cheap so I need to hunt around for any belt that will work.

Also does anybody know if an A series belt(1/2") will work and is the length measurement on the inside or outside?

I can't tell you if a A series belt will work but to measure a belt it is measured on the back of the belt or outside. I had to retro fit my mule drive pulleys to 1/2" for my mower deck so the 1/2" or A series belts would work.

Larry it sounds like your going to try a non cub belt. Make sure you use a cub belt that is designed for going thru the mule drive. It will last longer and save you money in the long run. I'm seeing them for $78. That's a lot cheaper then the belt I had to buy for the 125!

Yea I have been thinking and I think I'll just fork over the dough and get the right one. That way I know it will work and wont cause any problems.

I'm all for saving money but those mule drive twist and turns are hard on off brand belts. I'm glad your going to get oem belt theres nothing more that I hate to do then throw money at a problem.
