My 3 garden tractor lineup.

Here they are.
Left to right-1970 IH cub 147, 1972 Montgomery Wards Hydrostatic 14, 1987 Cub Cadet 1872 The Montgomery Wards is made by Gilson. Its not a Cub Cadet but its beefy and has family history. Grandpa W bought it new '71 or maybe '72. It was the first thing I ever drove by myself up and down the long driveway at my Grandpas farm while he watch me. I was 5 I think, maybe 6. My Dad got it some how and used it on his farm for years. He rebuilt the motor once. Years later the tie rod broke and few other issues. It then sat for years. I am just getting it going again as my current project. I dont plan on a restore or anything but just getting it up and running good again. |
Nice lineup, what model is that between the Montgomery Wards and the 1872? an 82?

Very nice looking tractors. I have a montgomery ward hydro 8 that I got when we first moved into the new house. Sadly the old brigs decided to vent the block. May fix it one day as they are made pretty well.

Sweet line up!

Nice looking herd you have there! I hope to be getting a Wards GT sometime in the near future. A co-worker will be moving, and he has one he said he'd "give" to me. We'll see if that really is a "give". I hope so!

Thanks Everybody! :beerchug:
