Paint code chart
 

Is there a paint code chart for 1990 and newer Cubs? I would like to use PPG paint but I can't find any information. I don't want to use paint that the dealer sells.

Oak i went to the local Napa/Autocolor and they did some searching in the computer and found the paint codes for ppg and dupont...I wish i could find it for ya. Got misplaced. Hope this helps.

Oak, I found these after searching online for a bit. Its not much, but may help.

The PPG microfiches usually had a description of what the color originally came on under the PPG paint code number and color name in the header of the microfiche itself, similiar to below:

DBU 81518 - Yellow
International Harvester/Cub Cadet Yellow

One bummer was that the non-automotive & the non-metallic color chip books didn't have much for information with the color chip besides the color code itself. PPG did have an awesome cross-reference (it was over 1.5" thick when I worked at the auto parts store) book that you could find something to match to if you had a number from a different manufacturer.
