lift handle button release

Ok boy's, have a good one here for ya. I need a small little clip that attaches to the lift handle and releases the button. Been lookig all over for one and having no luck. Any ideas would really help for snowblowing this year. Thanks Kenny

Kenny what model are we talking about?

Kenny,
If it is a narrow frame the clip may be a "C" type and you should be able to get one at a NAPA or a good hardware store.
Regards,
Chris

clip for button release

The cub size in question is a 125 or 123 I thought at one time that someone had a post on making these clips thanks Kenny

I think he is talking about the wire bail for the float control on the lift handle. Someone was making them out of welding rods a while back.

The 125 and 123 releases are different , if it is a 123 It should have a wire clip that flips up over the release button, if it's a 125 it has a button on the front of the handle. Cub cadet classics used to have NOS ones for the 123, but they are NOA, but I'm sure one of the sponsors at the top of the page can get you one.

Buton clips

Oak you are on the right trac. There was someone making these clips out of welding rods. It does put the handle in the float control. I need this for using the snowblower this winter. Otherwise the blower will be digging into the ground and not floating over it. Just have to find one or find who was making them. I do thank-you for the support Kenny
