SGT snow blade & hyd. angle kit question
I have a 701 54" snow blade that was made for CC by Haban and a NOS 378 hydraulic blade angle package. I can't figure how mount the angle kit on the blade as I have no instructions. Does someone out there have this setup that could point me toward the instructions or maybe even take some close up pics and send them? I would be eternally grateful.

As far as I know, the Hydraulic Angle Kit that IH designed and used was solely for the IH 42" or 54" blade. I am unaware of a Angle Kit for the Haban.

well i have a 401 haban it uses 378 hyd kit you don't use two brackets there for hi blade brackets on haban is welded on i can get a pic tomarrow.

Bless you my son! More than 1 pic would be desirable.

Here's a pic or two from last year when I put the Haban blade on my 1872 with the 1810 sheet metal.I also flipped the plow shoes around after someone pointed out to me they were backwards.Hope it helps and remember you only use two springs for snow.

blade pics
Bob,
Thanks so much for the blade pics. They clear up many questions I had. However, I still have a few other questions like do I strip all the linkages and hardware off having to do with the manual retraction of the spring loaded pin that locks the blade in position with reference to it's swiveling from side to side? Also, is the bar that connects the lift cylinder bracket and the blade made from round tubing and flattened on the ends with a hole in each end for a bolt or pin? Dave |
Yes i would strip all that off and if you go down to the resource section under implements there a manual it under ccc54" blade it the manual that came with my kit

Dave,
I would do as riesedesperado6170 points out and go look at the manual it has great pictures of the unit.I was lucky to get the books with mine.I have also added some bolts to attach the quick attach frame to the tractor frame it really makes it solid. Bob |
Haban blade
I looked at the manual and it looks like I can handle the project from here. I will take a couple pics when I get it mounted on my 1772. Thanks so much for those who helped, especially Bob.
