Anybody tried "Gator" blades on their 44C?

Thinking about getting a new set of blades for my new 682/44C to mulch leaves before the snow falls here in VA. Anybody tried the mulching blades? Much difference between them and regular blades, as far as cutting and mulching? Any difference between the $80 ones and the $50 ones?

thumbs up

I recommend them but mine are on a MTD .they seem to vaporize the leaves
mine are not the Gator blades but very similar.
Question has any one ground the blade square on the tip of the cutting point instead of the normal angle ? A tech at the local lawn mower shop states it cuts better and lasts longer because it cuts on both 90 degree edges

I use them on my 50C and will continue to use them. I like them better than the CC blades.
