100 Made its way into my garage....
4 Attachment(s)
Well, after numerous e-mails and questions (likely enough to drive a man to drink), I got me a 100 today. Even with the cool weather, it made its way home from New York State this afternoon safe and sound. Was fortunete to get a #4 trailer, deck, and front blade with it as well as a hand full of extra parts. :Woo: :High5:
Wife and I took a little drive today and met two great people. Rich and his wife Donna were great. Laid back, friendly people who give new meaning to bending over backwards! Thank you very much!! Rich, your "baby" will have a good home, and is tucked in nicely - don't worry, I will take good care of her! :biggrin2: By the way, assure you wife I don't think I could ever bring myself to bleed blue (Toronto Maple Leaf's blue). :LMAO1: Besides, I see the torment my friends get from being one of them fans....poor buggers! Here is a couple pictures of it before I tucked it away in the garage. Will add more this week. Have it nicely tucked in next to the 982. They seem to get along well too - so I am sure there will be not fighting. Have to check out the one front wheel, think it needs a bushing or something, has a little cant to it. Nothing serious I am sure. Have a bracket for the generator to either spot weld or just replace with the one in the extra parts pile. Other than that....a good waxing when Spring comes. I'd have to say, it looks great pulling a #4 cart. :beerchug: Attachment 18467 Attachment 18468 Attachment 18469 Attachment 18470 |
Mike Congrats on a sweet 100 and #4 cart!

Sweet 100! nice score!

Thanks guys! I am pretty excited!

That is a sweet looking 100. Are you going to put it to Snow blade duty this winter??
|
:HeadScratch: You kidding DX3?? NOT A CHANCE! This is to be used for Spring to Fall work. No real intention of using it in the winter at all. I have a blade on my ATV & a Cub walk behind snow blower. Until I start to get old and seize up, I will be able to use the walk behind. Someday I will get myself a dedicated "snow removal" tractor and sell off the walk behind. But that will be a tractor with a nice cab on it and I can sit in there on those cold blustery days. I am sure that will not come anytime soon if I can help it. Besides the fact that the wife would shoot me! Was offered a nice cab today. Parts of it were the wrong colour - but we will not go there! Guess nothing a good paint gun couldn't fix? Not really sure what model tractor I would suit up for winter duties - but not going to be the 100. Was surprised how big it is, doesn't look as small next to the 982 as I thought it might.

:beerchug:Thanks Mike for the complements. It was great meeting you and Diane also. It's was great talking Cub with the two of you. I really didn't need another reason to drink but your emails came close, HA HA. If I can help you at all getting parts or as a drop off point let me know. I am happy with our deal hope you are too. I know our baby will be well taken care of. I don't think it will stay dorment to long it looks like your puppy wants a ride now!!! I think your a great owner.Looks like it's going to be kept warm all winter I see you have a wood stove to keep it warm, HA HA. Donna enjoyed talking Canadian to Diane and you also. Thank God thank you don't bleed blue you might of bleed RED. HA,Ha. Take care and enjoy my Cub Friend, see you on a detour one day in my Otter Lake Drive. RICH

Thanks Guys!
I do have one question though.... How do you decide which tractor to drive each day??? :crap: :Unknown: I have never had to DECIDE between two workers to help me out before? I am thinking I will need to leave a quarter in the garage now to help with the decision. :Woo: Going to see if I can get some more pictures this afternoon after getting Christmas decorations up in the house. |
