Best Cub
 

Hey guys, Ive gotten kinda bored with my current cub and im looking into buying another. So this is the question, what is the "best" cub cadet?
I know its all about personal preference and what you like but is there a cub that really stands out over the others. Are there any cubs that I should stay away from? Any input would be great.

Right now it's about style and rarity. And what you want to do with it.
At first I bought everyone I had the chance, now it's more of what I need. Oh yah, I need more:beerchug:

My personal favorites are the 782D and the 1772 (diesels rule!):biggrin2:

My favorite is the 149 or the 1x9 series. For me the hydro is a must have, especially for mowing and snow removal. The wide frames are easier to work on also. Basically it's what you like but all are good.

I agree with Cadplans, "the next one"

As you can see, this is just one of "those" questions. Some would argue that the Supers are best because they're the biggest, others will say the diesels, then you'll have your "O" fans. I say forget all that and collect the ones that interest you. What about a Cub Cadet grabs your attention? I've been lucky enough to find an 882 and a 147. That combo gives me both a Kohler and a diesel, as well as a wide and narrow frame.

Get the ones you like!

The point is, "best" is going to be a highly personal call.
