Radials Instead of Bias tires for Traction?

The AG tractor tire sites say you use a few less psi and get 40% more traction.

I guess from their images, the improvement comes from more contact area when using radials.

I think I am ready to put some radials on the QL1000.

Has anybody tried radial tires on the back of a GT to improve traction? :bigthink:

Not radials but I run 5psi loaded W/RV antifreeze in these 26x12x12s.

do make radial tires for garden tractors?

A good 2 ply tire works if you know what you are doing.

Clay,
I have those same tires. Not new but worn out from an atv. Got them for 20.00 off of craigslist. They where too worn for a quad but just perfect for our tractors. I'm always looking on there for tires of off of quads.

Yea used ATV tires are less than AGS around here anyway. I got The 4 super swampers for 160 w/alum. rims sold the rims for 100. I think the deal was OK:bigthink:
